Current Temperature In the future, we would like to have a little weather station at the Big Sky Observatory that transmits data such as temperature and wind speed, but until then we have to get by using other means. At this time, we estimate the current temperature at the observatory by averaging the current temperature in Calgary and Lethbridge, since the observatory is located approximately midway between these two cities. Environment Canada provides current conditions for these two cities, as can be seen by the WeatherLinks located on the right.  |
